In some scenarios, a PDF is required to include an ICC profile. This is the case if you want to create a PDF/A-1b compliant document. The ICC profile used by the PDF Printer was chosen for maximum compatibility at the cost of size.

If you want to change the ICC profile used then you can do so using the icc setting in the ini files. The icc setting can specify the full path to an alternative ICC profile file.

Here is a sample of what that ini file setting could look like in an ini file such as the global.ini:

[PDF Printer]
  icc=c:\icc\eciRGB_v2.icc
